As the last set of hands to touch the exotic fruit that we gratefully prepare for discerning consumers, 392 wants to do whatever we can to ensure viability and sustainability of our craft industry. Our super-specialty niche in the coffee industry is fragile. On average, coffee drinkers aren’t aware of the differences between mass market coffee, specialty coffee, and craft coffee. We feel a great responsibility to do our part to change this. “Juice” is one of our efforts.

We will partner with our entire supply chain, from seed-to-cup, creating a working relationship that will benefit all parties involved. Starting with YOU, the consumer; You will benefit by drinking super delicious coffee, while getting an in-depth understanding and education on the coffee we chose, and an added value of understanding that your money is being put into an ecosystem of positive growth. We, the shop/brewer will benefit by getting to work with the coffee for a longer time, cultivating an in-depth relationship with it, and fully understanding how to extract all of it’s innate beauty! Plus, we get the privilege of working closer with the producers and importers of the coffee, creating long-lasting, beneficial industry relationships! Our roaster, @BrandywineCoffeeRoasters is able to allocate more sourcing dollars into fewer relationship coffees rather than more, smaller buys. This allows them the opportunity to foster existing relationships, and create new relationships at origin. Making a larger financial impact to the producer, their business, and their family gets added feel-good points! With the help of craft coffee importers that ascribe to better trade practices and ethical, people-first business standards, through this program, we will have a direct line of communication with the producers of the coffees we choose to highlight! We will be able to visit origin, communicate directly with farmers/producers, and give critical consumer feedback that will help the entire industry. Ultimately, the producers will benefit financally for all of their risk, hard work, and intention in cultivating a superior crop. We All Win!
